Andrew Carnabuci
Avoiding the Fate of Argos is a note I wrote for the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal. It examines the duty of care of trust protectors, under hedonic utilitarian, quasi-Kantian, and Aristotelian frameworks. It is legal scholarship in name only; it is really meant as a philosophical exploration of what “happiness” consists of for an animal. It was recognized by the law school with the Award for Outstanding Legal Scholarship, and by the Judge Brown Scholarship Foundation as a national top-five finalist for the Judge John R.Brown Award for Excellence in Legal Writing in American Law Schools (final results pending).
