I am a writer, lawyer, amateur Anglo-Saxonist, curmudgeon, aesthete—and alternatively a hermit and a bon vivant. I subscribe to the principle that as a man, I am properly concerned with all that affects mankind. I like analogue books (made of paper) and analogue machines (old cars and watches) more than the entire universe of social media considered collectively. On this site, you will find some information about me, as well as some of the projects I have worked on, written and otherwise.
This is my website, so it observes my rules. You can probably intuit them from the sorts of things you find here. Most of them are consonant with the ideas of liberalism, pluralism, free speech, curiousity, imagination, the power of rational law, the virtue of honest folly, and the fundamental dignity of the individual. Here, we reject collectivism, orthodoxy prescribed by authority, alternative facts, critical [race/gender/etc.] theory, censorship of all kinds, and chosen ignorance.
